Retride Editorial Policy: How We Write, Source and Review Pages
Written by the Retride editorial team
Last updated · Who reviewed this page · How we write and review
Retride pages start from the bottle label, add the seller's terms and linked NIH, FDA and study sources, and mark missing facts as not published. Highlighted fill-in slots hold the medical reviewer and every review until real people and matched orders fill them. Corrections go to [email protected] and are fixed once checked.
What is the Retride editorial policy?
The Retride editorial policy is the rule set our team follows on every page. It covers how pages are written, sourced, reviewed, corrected and kept honest about reviews.
Five promises run through all of it.
- The bottle label is the top source for any fact about the product
- Every research line links to a study or a government page
- Gaps are marked not published, never filled with a guess
- No person, review, score or count is invented
- Errors are fixed openly and the page date moves
How is a Retride page written?
A Retride page is written in four passes, from the label outward. Each pass adds a layer and checks the one before it.
Pages aim for a grade 7 to 8 reading level, with short sentences and one idea in each.
Copy the label
The blend, serving, claims, cautions and distributor line go in exactly as printed.
Add the seller's terms
Packs, prices, the money-back window, shipping and returns come from the seller's pack, dated.
Add research
Study doses and results go beside the label amounts, with a link to each source.
Plain-language edit
Every heading asks a question, and the first two sentences below it answer that question.
Which sources do Retride pages use, and in what order?
Retride pages rank their sources, and the higher source wins on a product fact. The label sits at the top because it describes the bottle you hold.
Some material is never used at all, however often it appears in ads.
| Level | Source | Used for | Never used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Bottle label and Supplement Facts | Blend, serving, claims, cautions | Research results |
| 2 | Seller's terms | Packs, prices, guarantee, contacts | Health claims |
| 3 | Seller graphics | Routine and ingredient pictures | Doses or timelines |
| 4 | NIH, FDA, FTC, Cleveland Clinic | Safety, regulation, scam warnings | Proof the product works |
| 5 | Peer-reviewed studies | Doses tested and effect size | Claims about the finished formula |
| Excluded | Seller sample reviews, paid ads, forums | Nothing | Any fact on the site |
How do Retride pages report research?
Retride pages report each study with its dose, length and result. When the label amount is far from the study dose, the page says so in plain numbers.
For example, ketone salt drinks with about 12-24 g of BHB raised blood ketones to roughly 1 mM (Stubbs et al., 2017). The Retride blend is 60 mg, and pages print both figures together.
- Name the dose and the form tested, salt or ester
- Give the trial length and the number of people
- Say what the people ate, such as a low-calorie keto diet
- Flag small or short trials
- Never stretch a study of one form or dose to the finished formula
What claims do Retride pages allow?
Retride pages quote only the four label claims, each with its asterisk, and explain what they mean. They never promise pounds, fat loss, ketosis, appetite control or a faster metabolism.
Label claims like these are structure/function claims, which the FDA does not evaluate before sale (FDA, 2024).
Wording our pages never use
- Calling the product a weight-loss medicine
- Saying it puts you in ketosis, burns fat or melts fat
- Any disease, cure or treatment claim
- The words FDA approved
- Best, number one or other ranking words
- Fake endorsements by celebrities or TV shows
How do Retride pages word health cautions?
Retride pages state each caution once, plainly, with a source where one exists. A page carries no more than four, so the ones that matter stand out.
The core cautions come from the label and from the medicine notes our reviewer will check.
- Ask a physician first if pregnant, nursing, under 18 or living with a medical condition
- Talk to a doctor first if you take diabetes drugs, diuretics, or blood-pressure, heart or kidney medicines
- Talk to a doctor first if you follow a low-sodium diet
- Do not exceed the label dose of two capsules a day
What are the highlighted fill-in slots on Retride pages?
A fill-in slot is a highlighted blank on a Retride page that holds a value only a real person or a real order can supply. Each slot has a key, and it stays highlighted until the value is real and confirmed.
Once confirmed, the highlight disappears and the matching data is added to the page code. Nothing fills a slot early.
| Slot | Where it appears | What fills it |
|---|---|---|
| Reviewer name, credentials, role, date | Byline links, author box, About page | A qualified person who has reviewed the pages |
| Rating score and count | Reviews page summary | Order-matched ratings |
| Star shares, 5 to 1 | Reviews page bars | The real split of those ratings |
| Review card fields | Six cards on the reviews page | One buyer's matched order and own words |
How does the Retride medical review work?
A qualified medical reviewer will read each Retride page for safety notes, medicine concerns and claim wording. That reviewer has not been named yet, so the reviewer fields stay blank.
When a review happens, the reviewer's name, credentials, role and review date replace the blanks. The reviewer section on the About page shows the slot as it stands.
The reviewer will not write sales copy or endorse the product. A completed review will mean the health wording was checked.
How do Retride reviews get verified?
A Retride review gets verified when its order ID matches the seller's records and the buyer agrees in writing to publication. Until both happen, the card stays a highlighted blank.
The same steps apply to the score and the count.
- 1
Buyer orders
The order comes from the authorized seller, with an order email.
- 2
Order is matched
The order ID is checked against the seller's records.
- 3
Buyer consents
The buyer agrees in writing to show the review.
- 4
Words go in as written
Low stars and complaints stay in, unedited.
- 5
Slot is confirmed
The highlight drops away and the card says it is order-matched.
Today no card has passed these steps. The reviews page shows all six slots.
How are errors corrected on Retride pages?
Send corrections to [email protected], and the team fixes confirmed errors as soon as the source checks out. The page's Last updated date moves to the day of the fix.
The last full check of the site finished on October 11, 2026. Pages are also rechecked when a seller term, a cited source or a missing fact changes.

Questions about how Retride pages are made
Questions people type into Google and Bing, answered from the label and the sources on this page.
How are Retride pages written?
Each page starts from the bottle label, adds the seller's terms and linked sources, and is written in short, plain sentences. Missing facts are marked not published.
Are Retride pages medically reviewed?
Not yet. The medical reviewer fields show highlighted blanks until a named, qualified person reviews the pages.
Why are some words on Retride pages highlighted in yellow?
The highlight marks a fill-in slot: a value only a real person or a real order can supply. It stays highlighted until that value is confirmed.
Does the Retride site pay for reviews?
No. No paid, sample or invented review appears here. A review card fills only after its order ID is matched and the buyer agrees.
Why does the Retride site not use the seller's sample reviews?
They are not tied to checked orders. The seller's sample reviews, sample score and sample order count are left out on every page.
How do you decide which studies to cite?
We cite human studies and reviews with a working link, and we report the dose each one used. A study of a different dose or form is labeled as such.
How do I report a mistake on a Retride page?
Email [email protected] with the page link, the wrong line and a source. The inbox is read Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET.
Why do Retride pages never say FDA approved?
Because the FDA does not approve dietary supplements before sale (FDA, 2022). The label's FDA-registered facility line describes the factory only.
Can the Retride editorial team answer order questions?
No. The editorial inbox cannot see orders. Call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 for tracking and refunds.
